Stephanie and Richard, the husband and wife duo behind Brentwood Ice Cream Co., are no strangers to the food world. They’ve spent the past five years baking French-Asian pastries with their pop-up, Kaya Bakery, building a loyal Bay Area following. Each summer, they’d find themselves back in Brentwood, picking fruit and dreaming about a place that blended their love of pastry with the local harvest. When a space opened in Lone Tree Plaza, they knew it was time to bring that dream to life.

The result is a boutique scoop shop that makes everything in-house, from handmade jams to the creamy 16% butterfat ice cream base. Flavors rotate with the season and might include Brentwood White Peach, Blackberry Jam Swirl, or whatever the couple has recently foraged from nearby farms. Even the shop’s design, branding, and merchandise are thoughtfully crafted by the pair.

Currently soft opened and fine-tuning their operation, the team is gearing up for a grand opening celebration at the end of the month, complete with a city ribbon cutting and a cow dress up competition.
